Israeli Druze have been complete partners with Israel, loyal citizens and dedicated soldiers - perhaps even more so than many Jews...

The Golan Druze situation is more complex... most have family across the border in southern Syria. Generally aligned with the Assad regime, the Syrian Druze have always been highly vulnerable to the vicissitudes of the regime and the civil war.

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time can lead to exposure - and instant massacre by any party.

Israel should be supportive of the Syrian Druze where possible - but needs to proceed cautiously regarding developments on the other side of the border - as Israeli Druze sheikh Tarif states.

Isreal would lov eo help them, but that will be considered as invasion and the Muslims wil high wire over this. They woudl rather kill each other for now until they find more time for Israel.
