I thought the term "Indian Giver" exclusively applied to North American Indians.

I would love to know why they are doing this considering they spent about 2 years evaluating different system and it came down to the Spike and American Javalin which is more expensive and the US would not agree to let India build under licence because they do not like sharing technology.
Israel agreed to let India build the Spike under licence so it would have meant jobs to Indians and they would have the ability to build whatever they needed, deal was done then last minute the Indians back out.

Just seems no logic to this decision.

India is not a friend of Israel. Never has been, never will.

Ghandi himself was anti-semitic and cared not for the Jews during the holocuast. Ghandi believed that Jews are OK as long as Jews abide by hinduism. The poverty in India is because of their religion. hinduism is based on a cast system - A person born into poverty, must stay in poverty.

Israel has given Israel so much. Israel has improved agriculture for the Indian people. While some may suggest the united states had influence India to withdraw from the agreement. I am certain India doesn't care either way.. The Indian I know tell me that Ghandi was pro Hittler and cared not for Jews or Christians. And that Ghandi wrote to Hitler suggesting that Jews be given a suicide pill in the camps rather than waste gas on Jews.
