2. Yes, His Excellency Anwar Sadat died like a great MAN,
Rivkah   (11.25.17)
standing up to die when he saw the assassins instead of diving for cover. I hope haShem received him into His Kingdom as a righteous Gentile.
3. TO BOTH GENTLEMEN, HOW DO YOU DARE?
FO ,   Belgium   (11.25.17)
To Adi Rosenberg and Amir Bogen, how do both of you dare to write the following stupidity?: "...United Nations Resolution 242, which called on Israel to withdraw from the territories it occupied in 1967..." It is not only stupid, it is dangerous because it is a lie. UNSC Resolution 242 was voted when Israel was still occupying the Sinai Desert. I suppose, Dear Gentlemen that you haven't the slightest idea who was the author of Resolution 242, and what he meant by writing "withdrawal FROM territories" and not "FROM THE territories". The author was Prof. Eugene Rostow, Dean of the School of Law at Yale. Rostow explained in multiple articles he wrote about 242 that once Israel would withdraw from the Sinai Desert, NO OTHER TERRITORY could be requested from Israel to withdraw from, based on the "Mandate for Palestine" (League of Nations, 1922) that became International Law and can't be rescinded, and reaffirmed by Article 80 of the UNITED NATIONS' CHARTER!!! So Gentlemen keep this in mind, will you?
4. Sadat loved Israel
Tova ,   Canada   (11.26.17)
Sadat made peace with Israel against the will of his political party and the Egyptian people. Sadat read the Torah, Sadat read the whole Bible. He knew the GOD of Israel and made peace with Israel. And for that Sadat was murdered by one of his people. Sadat studies Jewish History from slavery to freedom. This is like the story of Joseph and Moses. Both became successful in Egypt. Sadat was a man who knew GOD is with Israel and Sada believed GOD would also bless him. As it is written "I will Bless those who Bless you. And I will curse those who curse people. Sadat chose to be blessed. and made peace with Israel
5. great recounting of history, revealing...
Rafi ,   US   (11.28.17)
a) Jimmy Carter's hopeless egotism;

b) M. Begin's self-defeating stubbornness and inability to negotiate -
which needlessly alienated Sadat and likely ruined Israel's opportunity to get a better deal regarding Sinai.

By alienating his counterparts, Begin poisoned the atmosphere for Israel's interests, in the end getting a worse deal for Israel...

Sound familiar? hint: Bibi tactics negotiating Iran nuclear deal with Obama Admin. Thanks to Bibi playing to his political base, Israel got BUBKES.
6. Sadat's visit for Peace
Harry ,   USA   (12.14.17)
If someone other than the antisemitic Carter had been president of the US at the time things might have been very different today. I am very ashamed of this president and that he still lives. An American religious leader, friends of both Sadat and Begin named Herbert Armstrong did more than anyone else to make this day happen in Jerusalem.
