1. No wonder why the Kibbutz movement self-destructed
Avi Israeli ,   Tel-Aviv, Israel   (12.03.17)
BTW, the US hasn't had a draft since the Vietnam war.
2. One thing for sure,,,,,,,,
Rob ,   Wash. D.C.   (12.04.17)
she doesn't need to come to the U.S. anymore. This woman is ignorant, she is racist, she is not a Semite and she is not really an attractive white European woman. "A woman's worth" is definitely something Israelis should be asking themselves of Tzipi Hotovely.
3. Has Kibbutz Movement ever said anything about Kibbutz Gan Sa
ab   (12.04.17)
muel, hosting among its members the one who had passed to Syrians plans of Moun Hermon fortifications just before the Yom Kippur War ?
He has not only been joyously welcomed by the Kibbutz after coming back from jail, the Kibbutz has also financed his subsequent Phd studies
4. Not a Hotovely fan but really l don't like this.
Sameach Tet ,   Israel   (12.04.17)
Deputy FM Ms Hotovely was 100% out of line with her comments. In like manner the kibbutz movement is 100% out of line with their comments.
There is a fine line between freedom of speech and common courtesy
There is a fine line between freedom of speech and incitement.
My point of view both sides have crossed the line. Talk needs to be toned done to responsible respectful levels immediately
5. Not good...
(12.04.17)
Basically as bad as MK Hazan's name calling of the left. In other words where have we Israelis left commin courtesy and basic manners
6. Kibbutz Weekly
Albert ,   Stamford   (12.04.17)
As a lover of Israel I find this cartoon vile, despicable and incomprehensible.
7. Why is Hotevely vilified
Maurice Margulies ,   Rockville   (12.04.17)
I don't understand what was so wrong about the minister's comments. Compared to Israelis we lead convenient lives - no threats of rockets from Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Gaza. I am basically a non-observant Jew. However, I lived in Israel for a year during Intifada # 1. I appreciated closures on Shabbat. Once I got a car I went to the beach on Shabbat. However, I would not drive through an Orthodox neighborhood on Shabbat. The minister is correct that most Jews, especially the young have no real knowledge of Israel and very little historical knowledge of Israel or anything else .
8. Despicable. There is no justification for that.
Steve Benassi ,   Minneapolis USA   (12.03.17)
9. How is this cartoon different from Yair Netanyahu's cartoon
Amnon S. ,   Israel   (12.04.17)
How is this cartoon different from the message given to all of us by the Likud party when it's members meet with the white supremacist Steve Bannon?

It isn't different at all. The difference is that the expectation from all of us, even the Israeli Right and the Likud party, that the Kibbutz Movement should be held to a higher standard.
10. I'm no fan of Hotolevy but this is completely unacceptable
Rafi ,   US   (12.04.17)
total shame on the kibbutz publication for intertwining any Jewish issue with the accursed Nazis
11. Hotovely is 100% correct
Tova ,   Canada   (12.03.17)
her comments about american Jews are true and that applies also to Canadian Jews and any Jew living outside of Israel. As Jews Israel is only our place on earth. Our freedom in NOT because of America or Europe or anywhere on earth. Israel is a soverign nation and without Israel. Jews would be still be living in concentration camps. The United States. NOT Canada has given Israel support more than any nation especially at the United Nations. However times are moving quickly and soon Jews world over will experence the next wave of the holocaust. American Jews wake up time is short. The United States is the strongest Christian country as well. and like any nation that get tired and weary of war will soon weaken as China, Russia and Iran along with muslin creat a new alliance.

Shame on Jews who forget Israel.
12. Hotovely + Kibbutz Movement = 100% WRONG!
Emett HaAm ,   Israel   (12.04.17)
Both sides need to take responsibility for their words.
Both sides need to apologize for their words.
Both sides need to dialogue with one another, after that,
Both sides need to dialogue with North American Jewry!
13. Kibbutz & Left live in alternative reality anyhow.
(12.04.17)
14. There used to be this idea
Howard K.   (12.04.17)
of not "airing one's dirty laundry in public." Especially when in the internet age all online postings become "public" way or another. All of these comments are are being joyfully welcomed on anti-Semitic neo-Nazi websites.
But, since ynet (along with all the others) has nurtured the attitude of vilifying anyone and anything we disagree with, both in the published news items and in readers' comments, to the point that it is practically a national pastime..Hence, haredim, settlers, right-wingers, etc. In short, anyone I or "my group" disagrees with -- are grist for the worse kind of disparagement, Stuff that if it appeared on anti-Semite's websites, you all would be clamoring to shut down the offending website. Well, we are all teaching them and the entire world that Jew-bashing is perfectly acceptable. See, they do it among themselves. And please don't try to claim "well, we have justification for our oppsing "them" (right-wingers, settlers, haredim, etc., fill in the blank). Because, as we all know, the anti-Semitic regime in Europe in the 1930s also felt it has good reasons for vilifying the Jews. A bit of common sense would go a long way.
15. Jake split hairs much?
(12.04.17)
No one named Yair Netanyahu cn be considered separate frim his father.
And anyway you can't have it both ways...that is you can't congratulate Yair. Netanyahu and at the same time criticize the kibbutz movement.
Either they are both right or they are both dead wrong.
16. She has a good point- what happened to free speech?
MadDad ,   Johannesburg   (12.04.17)
Is this only if you say what certain people want to hear?
