It is undeniable that Jerusalem has occupied a major symbolic position in Jewish story and continues to occupy that position in the Jewish religion, Jewish culture and contemporary Israeli life. But what has this to do with it being recognised as the capital of Israel? If we look around the world there are a number of countries where capitals have much less significance than the cities which are in many much more symbolic of the nation , e.g. compare Washington DC with New York or Los Angeles, Canberra with Sydney or Melbourne. Of course Jerusalem is a supremely special place but not only for Jews, as history will tell us. So, for the sake of everyone, and for the sake of the future of Israel and the Jewish people, I would argue to keep to the somewhat messy status quo. As they, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

It's an absolute scandal that Israel has no 'recognized' capital while every primitive new African nation does.

How dare they!

It's time to stop the self appointed 'Moral Knights' of the world telling the Jews what to do.

It's time for the Jews telling these hypocrites with their blood soaked hands to take a hike.

Colonialism is over!

Jerusalem is the original site of the Capitol of Israel and no other locale will
suffice.

Solomon's temple, the Second temple and Christians revered spot where Jesus

Christ taught in the great synagogue all in Jerusalem.

If not for the Jews, there'd be no Jerusalem stay in London and enjoy the

10. PRES. TRUMP OBEYS TO A LAW OF THE STATE !
FO ,   Belgium   (12.06.17)
The 24th of July 1922 the League of Nations voted unanimously by all its 51 members, the Mandate for Palestine. This Mandate gave the Jewish people the IRREVOCABLE RIGHT to settle anywhere on the territory between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, including the Golan Heights, to prepare their independent state. The United States that weren’t a member of the League of Nations, signed on December 3rd, 1924, under the presidency of Calvin Coolidge, a treaty with Britain to guarantee the implementation of the Mandate. “…Article VI of the U.S. Constitution labels treaties as the Supreme Law of the Land and instructs judges to enforce the performance of the specific obligations of the Nation’s treaties:”…all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby…” Though the 1924 Anglo-American Convention expired when the Mandate for Palestine was terminated midnight May 14/15, 1948, the principle of “Acquired Legal Rights” as defined in the 1969 Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, Article 70(1)(b), dictates that rights recognized and protected under a treaty do not expire or terminate when the legal instrument recognizing the rights is terminated. In other words, rights continue without end. So it is obvious that an American President has to obey the Law of the State concerning Treaties, and implement the Mandate for Palestine, concerning its borders of a Jewish independent state, and Jerusalem within these borders as its capital as decided by the citizens of this state!
11. Jerusalem as a capital
Yassin ,   Amman   (12.06.17)
Just for those who are looking for the truth... The status of Jerusalem acc to the UNO Is an international city. It is the capital of Palestine, Sovereign power is the UN, that's why it was never recognized as capital by anyone.. Any formal recognition is a violation to international law and many UN decrees.
FOR Israel it means effectively nothing, but, it is going to hinder any possibility of a peaceful settlement in the region due to the symbolic entity of the city... I feel sorry for all the arrogance and fanatism of that will encourage the hate and intolerance.
