1. Women in authority are more likely to misuse haShem's
Rivkah   (12.23.17)
authority to such a degree that haShem stands up and judges the nation(s) when women are ruling in His outrage=the nation is destroyed when haShem stands up against it. Look at German Chancellor Angela Merkel's destruction of the German economy, letting in millions of radical mostly adult male Islamics to bankrupt Deutsche Bank with welfare and condones the criminality of Islamics against German women, and men and children and dogs and ponies and the lawlessness has no end and anyone who complains is called a racist and silenced by being fired or prosecuted. WOMEN LEADERS = SATAN'S HOST with few exceptions. Look at the evil Hillary Clinton who is protected from prosecution for her treasons. Get a clue and vote for men and keep the women where they function the best: as mothers, in the kitchen and at churches and congregations, gardening and sewing. Keep them away from authority positions unless one wants the nation to be destroyed. Golda Meir(son) nearly got Israel wiped off the map and only President Nixon's intervention saved the nation of Israel from destruction.
2. The worst part of women being in positions of authority
Rivkah   (12.23.17)
is the outrage of haShem when they are mistreated. I was a US Navy Officer in the 1970's and the entire US Defense Department has been underfunded ever since because of haShem's outrage at the way I was mistreated. He cannot forgive the misuse of His authority against me. So in retrospect, I should have stayed home and been a wife instead of a US Navy Officer who brought the US Navy by haShem's outrage to having as few ships as it had in 1916 before WWI. That is from ONE WOMAN being in the US Navy that haShem loves. Heaven help the nation that has a woman at the helm of the government.
3. Germany had fascism, women have feminism.
ZIPPY'S USED CARS ,   Levittown, NY   (12.24.17)
In israel both have joined forces to destroy Jewish men and the Jewish family.
4. Feminism
dave   (12.24.17)
feminism is cancer
5. Feminism is destroying womenhood
Tova   (12.24.17)
Prof. Alice Shalvi is a hypocrite. like most feminists. They say they are not enough women in certain careers and yet she herself has had opportunities given to her.

She is not honest, And Israel is a more forward country for women than Canada in so many ways.

If she has problems reading the siddur - then she must solve the problem and not blame religion.

6. you can buy a Siddur specially for women (n/t)
star ,   israel   (12.24.17)
7. feminism is women wanting to set the rules of society
zionist forever   (12.24.17)
Israel is a macho society as she puts it and for good reason.
Yes the army is central to peoples lives and its a macho institution, all armies are the solution though is not to weaken the army and its role in the state.
What makes a Chief of Staff a good politician, nothing but the Chief of Staff needs to be a soldier, worldwide the Chief of Staff is a soldier and their role is advising to the government. Not all generals are good politicians but alot of ex generals want to enter politics and we cannot tell generals they cannot enter politics for feminist reasons.
Judaism itself refers to God as a male figure so if she cannot handle that how can she claim to be religious, thats not the fault of the state its the fault of religion and if she feels she cannot read the siddur don't blame the government blame the publisher.

Feminism is a concept that looks for trouble even when there is non
8. Israel must stand out.
The Archives ,   kuala lumpur   (12.25.17)
Excuse me, mama, no insults but Israel is moving forward slowly. The true objective of feminism is not equality but mutual respect between men and women despite their biological needs. Feminism should not be extreme in promoting equality but the right to be respected as equal with the right to voice out any objections and to be RESPECTFULLY treated.
9. Backward?
Sam ,   NYC   (12.25.17)
Bull! Did they forget Golda Meir?
10. I love women in power
Jules   (12.25.17)
Golda: We sat in the trucks waiting for permission to go home for Kippur. It was Thursday morning. Permission declined. So we already knew that the Egyptians will start the 73 war. Why wait until Saturday 2pm to counter attack?

Livni: A big thank you for supplying tones of weapons to the PA security men. They turned them against us in the following intifada.
11. She doesn't seem religious to me
David ,   New york   (12.26.17)
Strange how you seem to get so much more attention if you call yourself a "religious feminist"
Wonder why she might want to call herself that?
If she didn't, would we even know her name?
12. Yep! it sure is Ma'am
Talula ,   Tel Aviv   (12.31.17)
And it's getting worse.

Prof. Shalvi was also at the fledging English department at Ben Gurion University in the early 70's when I was a student. I was pregnant and the Yom KIppr war broke out and my husband was wounded...I went to her worried about the future of my studies. She hugged me warmly and told me to do what I needed to do-and all would be well-she had my back-and I did what I thought was right and took a year off-and when I came back to study-she personally made sure everything worked out. She was a powerhouse then and I see she is still going strong-bless you -you are an inspiration
