3. Political hostages
Bertram ,   London, UK.   (12.12.17)
In the UK we have begun to experience political hostage taking with Theresa May held captive by the Democratic Unionist Party. Of course, it is old hat for Israel's coalition governments held captive by the Ultra Orthodox parties. Hence the weakness of both administrations. However - and I am shocked to find myself in agreement with the guy - I give my full support to Avigdor Lieberman!
4. Beginning of the end for Israel it this bill is passed
Talula ,   Tel Aviv   (12.12.17)
We may as well go and live in Iran. Absolutely DISGUSTING that an ex-con who lied and cheated and stole money from the government is now free to mess up lives for hard working good honest Israelis - PUKE!!!!!!!!
5. As an Oleh
Daniel ,   Tel Aviv   (12.12.17)
While I fully sympathise with the religious community's desire to have a religious country and not have secularism thrown in their face, one of the things that makes Israel so amazing and great is it is the one place on earth a Jew can be secular. No matter where you live outside of Israel you are a Jew to those around you. IN Israel you can be Jewish but Hiloni.
By changing the laws to reflect the views of the more religious you are trampling the rights of the rest of the country...the actual majority. This may not bring down the government but it might be one more nail in this particular government's coffin if the bill passes.
6. Maybe next Deri would like ablity to hang gays......
David ,   Hartford USA   (12.12.17)
Why is this convicted criminal allowed such power? Let him resign, the country would be better off. This bill reads like something out of Nazi Germany and it shouldn't exist anywhere, let alone Israel.

For Deri to resign by throwing this bill into the toilet. It's the only way for Israel to move forward.
