It's very sad - the UN was a good idea and has done some good. I'd like the US to withdraw from the UN entirely (so would may of my fellow citizens). Too bad it hasn't lived up to its potential and has fallen so far from what it was meant to do/be when founded. I believe the money we pay into this organization could be put to better use by really helping those in need and not have all the baggage that comes with the UN.
