i appreciate ynet for publishing this vitriol, not only for the depravity of the author, but more importantly for the comment thread which exposes the racist ignorant bossy supremacist mind frame of israel supporters. although i encounter a couple polite or rational supporters of israel here (literally just 2) the vileness demonstrated here represents the pro israel community online, and it is so very ugly. no wonder why israel loses support daily. aside from apartheid, violence and the horrendous grass mowing, it's the attitude of israel supporters, the deck chairs pulled out w/snacks and beer to witness and cheer bombs over gaza, and it rings out here in this comment thread. so thanks, for making it clearer.

Apart from the stupid statements of the writer ("You have no nationality". She does, she's a New Zealander, it's the land of 75 million sheep, 4.5 million of whom think they're people. I can say that because I'm an Australian, and we love taking the piss out of Kiwis and vicky-verky (Americans; please use Google)), and "the assumption that in the Southern Hemisphere the Jewish mind goes against reason". Oh come on, mate, if you want to know where all the Jewish minds are that go against reason just look at the number of self-loathing Jews who live in the Northern Hemisphere - especially Israel. The real source of self-loathing among Jews can be found in the snow-flake, politically correct millenials and Gen Y'ers. Educated in egalitarian, non-competitive, conflict avoiding, touchie-feelie schools, by man-hating female teachers, who have foisted a guilt trip on those fortunate enough to live in relative freedom and unrestrained consumerism. They have grown up unable to cope with the thought of a dissenting voice and who think all world's disputes can be solved by promoting atheism, making university education compulsory and sitting down over a cup of ginseng tea and a quinoa salad.
The world is a sick place and Sachs and Lorde are just unfortunate victims trying to make the world a better place, but don't really know how.

We in Australia welcome everyone whatever their nationality or race or religion.
We admire New Zealand as a place that also does not believe its friends and allies should oppress its neighbour and occupy selected parts of their land .
Otherwise we would also not be able to criticise China and Russia for doing the same thing.
I think a bit of self reflection is in order and perhaps you may not appear as hateful and unattractive.
