1. Hamas + Fatah want to destroy Israel by violence or boycott
Sam ,   Montreal   (12.26.17)
Fatah is not some benign group as leftists try to make it. Both Hamas and Fatah would like to draw Arabs and other Muslims into war with Israel because they know they can't defeat Israel alone. Both of them would like to see Israel boycotted and sanctioned to death like the former South Africa. They are constantly drawing parallels for that purpose.
2. Shame on your lies Yacoubovich - Abbas open calls for terror
(12.26.17)
No wonder there are so many terror attack if someone like this was in charge. Abbas openly calls for terrorism as does the PLO Charter which was never ratified as per-Oslo Accord.

There is no peaceful part of Palestinian society and nothing their leadership has ever done for peace.

They refuse to negotiate and have broken nearly every part of every agreement they signed.

When did the Israeli leadership forget their place? corruption is not the only issue delusion seems more of a problem.

Would expect this from EU but from Israel?
3. Intifada was Fatah not Hamas.

epo   (12.27.17)
60 years of starvation, violent attacks, humiliation, disease and whatever else the rest of the developed world doesnt have to fear anymore?

could you pls go figure?
5. PALs= the politics of violence.
(12.27.17)
Doesn't matter, the pals like Communism are a 70 year road to nowhere.

Jerusalem WONT be shared, divided, split for any Arab or Christian cause.

This is ancient Jewish land, it's called Israel.
.

There is no palestine, thank G-d!!
6. # 4 Call it payback, pal.
BUILD BABY BUILD !!   (12.27.17)
Iran burned a Jordanian pilot held captive in a cage, care to comment?

There is no Palestine but, a lot of undesirable Arabs trying to squat their way into stealing Jewish land.
7. Let Fatah and Hamas fight it out in Jordan
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.27.17)
There is no reason why Israel should give a rat's ass about the "Palestinian" narrative. This tiny land is ours. Israel need to claim all our sole tiny Homeland, end all our mad support which keeps the P.A. and "Palestine" afloat. Help "Palestinians" leave with reasonable compensation. Let Fatah and Hamas fight it out in Jordan.
8. well...there's more than Yacoubovich should pay attention to
Alan ,   Somers, NY   (12.27.17)
There is something valuable to be gleaned in this article about the "differences" between Abbas (and Fatah) and Hamas. But, the value of the analysis, I believe, is limited. That is because the gist appears to be the disparity in how the two Palestinian "camps" seek to gain singular power over the Palestinian ‘cause”, presumably to achieve what the Palestinians would see as a "just peace" for them with the Israelis.
While there's little doubt that Fatah and Hamas are rivals in both organization and in methods, there is by now also no doubt that the goal of each isn't so much a "just Palestinian peace" as it is a difference in approach to engineer the demise of the State of Israel and the world's singular Jewish State. Hamas isn't sending rockets toward Israel to convince Netanyahu that he should relinquish the "eastern" section of Jerusalem for a capital of some new "Palestinian State." Instead, Hamas is delusionally, in its vicious anti-semitism, attempting to convince Israelis that Israel is no longer a place where they could ever be safe and life can go on. Hamas continued rocket attacks would extend beyond the south Israel border area if it were tactically possible for them to do so. Israel has unwisely, but by now, finally, made it clear that Hamas can not go beyond the limited south border arena with their belligerence.
Abbas, on the other hand but with equal intent, is attempting to lead the entire world, like a nose-pierced ox, to do everything imaginable to delegitimize the State of Israel. This too, is not with an eye to solely wrest a part of Jerusalem from Israel. He's been remarkably successful with his tactics with his non-Arab BDS-movement sycophants, J-Street-types, an immeasurably naive (if not mildly anti-semitic) Western Europe, sheepish third-world allies, etc. And, importantly, until very recently, with the even more important American Presidents, from the hopeful Clintons and Bushes to the palpable anti-Israel advocacy of Obama. But, the Palestinians' repeated rejection of thoroughly adventitious past offers by Israel, to have even part of Jerusalem for their "capital" show to anyone who's REALLY paying attention, that those motley allies...even in their frequently anti-Israel ferver...are not as thoroughly committed to Israel's utter destruction as he...or Hamas...are. This miscalculation is magnified by President Trump's American recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, which, if nothing else, further bolsters Israel’s permanence. Hamas can continue to make its irksome efforts to destroy Israel with its pathetic military forays. Abbas (and his Fatah) can continue to 'buy his time" in eroding the existence of the Jewish State by deluding Paris, London and Berlin by continuing to make believe he's seeking “peace", now by courting Russia or China as the new arbiters of an Israel/Palestinian “peace”, replacing the American "lost cause.” But neither he nor Hamas, whether they are blunt about their intentions, like Hamas is, or like Abbas, make believe they are pursuing the “peaceful national aspirations" of the Palestinians, will achieve their genuine purpose which is to destroy Israel as a Jewish State...or...even getting one of their own.
9. # 4 Why is it the pals population increases then?
BBB   (12.29.17)
"60 years of str starvation, violent attacks, humiliation, disease, whatever."

BS you lying POS.
10. Fight each other
lal ram ,   Wolverhampton, UK   (05.19.18)
Why don't hamas fight with palestinian authority, instead having two entities just have one, providing there is anyone left over. War of narratives is not the solution, you cannot have two chiefs.
