yes israel is doing more in the arab world, but in the main, when push to comes to shove, israel is demonized and villified. so for example, while realtions with egypt are not bad, they can turn quickly, so israel always has to be on guard and have conventional forces to deal with big arab armies even if they do not pose a threat right now. some military figures are wrong to not admit this.

now as for resupply, it is amazing how idf planners have been wrong time ang again not to build resupply depots in advance. in the 73 war, israel ran out and had to badger nixon for resupply when it was crucial. even in the recent gaza war, bibi did not on his own think in advance, do we have resupply in all aspects beforehand. so israel ran out of hellfire missiles and it had to go begging obama who refused. that bibi did not think of resupply in advance shows that he was never much of a soldier and that is the truth in my opinion.

lapid herzog gabbay would likewise not think of resupply.and this goes on. olmert livni, shas, bibi again did not think in advance if we had enough firefighing planes and supplies. so in the carmel fire, israel had to go begging.

it is elementary to say that many israeli leaders have been incompetent in how overlook critical homeland and external security issues.

elan   (12.29.17)
arab homeland relates primarily to one's village. if an arab is removed from his village to another one, then he considers himself a refugee even within a country labelled iraq or syria. for example, abbas rarely goes to other villages in west bank because he is considered a stranger. so he goes out to europe or arab countries or russia but not to hevron, or jenin since he is considered a foreigner. arab countries based one tribe like in the gulf can be successful. so a national country like syria or iraq oryemen is irrlevant and contradicts the sociology of the people-specfic village and tribe.

you can talk all you want about a country called palestine unless you destroy arab tribalism. so it is impossible.

many israeli poiticians do not understand this and keep parotting on 2 states like lapid gabbay and livni. it will never work, never.

as for israel winning hearts and minds in the middle east, its medical assistance does pay off. however it is what the heads of each tribe says, not fake national leaders, that counts.
