Moshe Benyamin ,   Springfield   (01.03.18)
Isn't it cute that Israel has their own generation of snowflakes!
5. Another Leftist whiner
Sam ,   Montreal   (01.03.18)
Not only do Palestinians reject a 2 state solution they reject a one state solution with Jews in it. (Washington Institute survey of Palestinians.) Israeli Leftists should chew on that before they present us with their tears on Palestinian treatment.
6. Can object but have no right to refuse to serve

7. Syria, Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, Leftist ideology
PaulD ,   Jerusalem   (01.03.18)
" I have some appreciation for conscientious objectors." Of course, Bergman 'appreciates' these conscientious objectors, he and his buddies have helped create them. The ideological misfits support the narrative that Jews don't deserve security unless they surrender to Jihad, and that the Arabs actually have a reason for their continued aggression. They unable to think deep enough to comprehend the underlying continued warfare of Arab and European harassment against Jewish existence, within their eternally Muslim Waqf, nor are they able to see the true motivations behind the obsessive attacks on settlements. If it isn't Settlements, the Arabs will find something else to be pissed about, as long as Jews exist within stabbing distance. A conscientious objector is one who wants all the benefits of society and is too morally weak to accept the responsibility. The Leftist argument will die with all the other twisted ideologies that seek to weaken Jewish independence. Israel can't make survival policy based on a group of people that think like they were born yesterday.
8. Nevertheless + Rest tacmanut , gnivat daat
(01.03.18)
All is nothing to do with demand for unity and high moral and ethics , for the Cllal Israel which is sacred, when you learn to prioritize your narcissism and self center position to do what is right and not whose right)
Torah education only way to get things done!!!
Am Israel Hi
9. But what is the solution?
Andi ,   Israel   (01.03.18)
Much of the article is true. The ruling over another people is very wrong. I don't think many peole argue that the status quo is a good thing-even the Right. But what's the solution? They won't negotiate and who is they? Which Palestinian leadership?

All those that rightly criticise the occupation have to also acknowlege that there is no solution on the horizon and that's not just Israel's fault.
10. Democracy doesn't mean the left always wins
Mordechai   (01.03.18)
Democracy isn't the left wins even when the voters vote against them time and time again.

It isn't anti democratic to require organizations funded by hostile foreign governments with virtually zero domestic support to publicly reveal the sources of their funding. Indeed most countries besides Israel outlaw foreign governments interfering with their elections. Collaboration with foreign countries isn't democratic simply because it helps the left.

No the so called occupation isn't crushing anyone. Are the Arabs of Gaza better off having been turned over to Hamas? Of course not.Would the Druse of the Golan be better off being part of the massacre in Syria? Obviously not.

Had the Arabs won the 67 war would they have returned the Israeli land they occupied with the war ended? No they would have ethnically cleansed it of every Jew and there would be no survivors. They started the war and lost it. It's Israeli land now and that will never change.
11. No choice indeed: they've been dealt faulty brains!Poor sods

12. Yes I agree.
cfspirit ,   fr and dz   (01.03.18)
Do not let other make down your country and future Palestinian country.
13. Judea & Samaria are ours forever. There is no "occupation"
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.03.18)
Judea and Samaria have belonged to the Jewish people for well over 4,000 years. There is no "occupation", except by Arabs who call themselves "Palestinians", though there never has been a "Palestine" state anywhere here. "Palestine" is complete fiction, like Oz, Neverland and Narnia.

Counselling young Israelis to not serve in Judea and Samaria is an intolerable form of leftist treason that must be punished severely. It is, truthfully, worse than ordinary treason. It is treason PLUS attempting to corrupt Israeli youth.

14. The only logical reason for such a distorted article is hits

15. Fanatic
Aurelie ,   Paris   (04.05.18)
You're totally stupid and A FANATIC. A land never asks to be liberated. Will the sand talk to you ? Will the stones explain they want Jews to come ? Only human beings can be free. The Jewish people has a state, which is the state of Israel. It doesn't need new territories with another people. The Palestinians see themselves as one people. You can't do anything against that, the same way Jews see themselves as one people even when some of them are American, French and Israelis, and the Palestinians can't do anything against that.
