Unfortunately it's too late; the damage 'has been seen to be done'.
The headlines is history and any potential outcome that exonerates the IDF will prove futile. People tend to remember and forget what suits them.
However and as I am sure will be proven, once again the IDF will come up trumps; it's then up to the Israel propaganda machine (which is heavily underemployed!) to ensure that any positive result is shouted for the wold to know, from the rooftops!

5. Whitewash - Why Bother?
The murder will be justified, just like the murder of the 13 year-old unarmed and wounded schoolgirl, Iman al-Hams, in 2005. He was carrying a flag and somehow jumped in front of the bullet, despite lacking legs. Fair game.
