Mueller has the power to subpoena Trump and ask whatever questions he likes for as long as he likes. he can even call Trump before a Grand Jury and grill him with no lawyer present. Trump can refuse to answer if he thinks an answer would incriminate him. but then that fact would be publicly known and the balance of his party even could assume he is guilty of something. He is probably a bigger crook than Nixon.
