The PLO expressed the above in its Charter as the thrust of the document and has not amended its goal to date.

I, therefore, suggest that after nearly a quarter of a century of permitting the PLO to change its ways, without any success, the State of Israel ought to take the initiative, and within the context of universal and Jewish morality, international law and UN Charter, and in order to usher peace, security, dignity and prosperity for all, Arabs and Jews alike, ought to take the following steps without a delay:

1. Dissolve the PLO's Palestinian Authority (PA) and outlawing the PLO and its components

2. Appoint local/regional governors to presently Areas A and B, who, collectively, will also form the governing body of the newly formed Autonomous Arab Area (AAA)

3. Incorporate Arab communities around Jerusalem and Arab communities in the Triangle/Ara Valley into the AAA

4. Apply the Israeli legal system throughout presently Area C

This contour, I trust, will meet the desire of the relevant population, Arabs and Jews alike, who seek peace, security, dignity and prosperity for them and their families.

The author is wrong when writing that Trump's declaration about Jerusalem is against dividing it. The US president said that the future boundaries of the Israeli capital would be determined by the two pertinent parties.
