In the west when they think of a refugee camp their mind picture is that of tents rain, wind, dust, heat etc.
UNRWA’s so called “Palestinian refugee camp” is a suburb like any other suburb in Arab towns or villages within the Arab-world with paved roads, footpaths, street lights, running water, electricity, shops etc. postal, bus and taxi services. The million dollar question is why shouldn’t the Arab world pay for the cleanup of what is visibly poor sewer and rubbish collection services in those suburbs.
