1. They do not want a state
Rami ,   Helsinki   (01.17.18)
Israel left Gaza and drove all settlers out. Old terrorist just took his mask of and showed that what happened in Gaza would happen in the West Bsnk as well. They would not even aggree to pre-war 1948 borders. Leftist Jews can't accept the fact that some people just have a fascist culture. Jews living as dhimmis for several centuries made Arabs feel like a master race. Dhimmis creating Israel and making it a powerhouse shocked them to the very core.

The only hope current "falastyn" leadership has: complete destruction of Israel, as a Jewish state.
Nadav, stick a couple of Band-aids on your bleeding heart, shmuck !

"Occupying" Judea and Samaria??? That sick remark has made sure, that this "article" isn't worth reading at all! The perpetrator of these lines is clueless about the international law regarding territories won BACK in a defensive war from the aggressor starting said war! Also about the history of said territories: the exiled jewish natives at the beginning of the jordanian occupation! Shame on him and on you, suicidally leftist ynet!
6. No to suicide.
Michael ,   Raanana   (01.17.18)
No to the creation of an arab terrorist state in Judea and Samaria controlled by genocidal Iran and its proxies Hamas and Hezbollah.
All arabs residing in Judea and Samaria remain citizens of Jordan and or the arab nation.
7. Give "Palestinians" hope for better life elsewhere
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.17.18)
Judea and Samaria are the more than 4,000 year old ancestral heartland of the Jewish people. There is NO national future for "Palestinians" here. Israel needs to give "Palestinians" hope for a better life elsewhere by ending all support for the P.A. and "Palestine", while offering "Palestinians" reasonable compensation to leave our land forever.

<and at no stage—until Sunday night—did he stop pursuing negotiations.>. What negotiations?! As soon as Abbas doesn't get what he wants he runs to the UN! What "negotiations" are in progress?! None!

people of its Jews which commenced its activities in the beginning of the 20th century under the leadership of Haj, Amin al-Husseini, is on the way out; fading away. We need to ensure that the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) is dissolved, along with its Palestinian Authority (PA) and that the Autonomous Arab Area (AAA) is set up in Areas A and B in its stead. Made of appointed local/regional governors, the AAA should also be the home of the Arab villages that surround Jerusalem as well as those of the Triangle/Ara Valley. The goal must always be to usher peace, security, dignity and prosperity for all, Arabs and Jews alike.

11. As usual, the argument against annexation is based on a lie
Jake   (01.18.18)
"giving them the right to vote and giving up the State of Israel’s Jewish majority"

This is a lie, plain & simple.

If Israel were to annex all of Judea & Samaria, it would result in a 67% Jewish majority state. Israel would be territorially secure, and without the PA inciting murder, security will be enhanced.

Israel can legalize expat voting for the 1-2 million Israelis living abroad (like most Democracies allow) and the Arab demographic threat will be completely neutralized, allowing them to enjoy equal rights & freedom as Israeli citizens.

13. If Jews want to 'occupying Judea and Samaria forever'?
BBB   (01.18.18)
You don't occupy what belongs to you possess it.
If you insist on using this language then, yes,
Jews will 'occupy' Judea and Samaria forever as an everlasting possession that was given by G-d.
BKEEP BUILDING !!
14. Time the Arabs in Israel occupy Muslim nations.

15. Occupied Territories viz. Judea Samaria
Puck ,   San Diego   (01.19.18)
Since when is an historic, indigenous people -- the Jews -- foreign occupiers of their own ancestral territories. And yes, the author of the article poses the core question of how to humanely deal with the resident Arabs. It is an issue that must be addressed. India and Pakistan solved theirs by exchanging religious populaces at partition. Other countries have also made ethnic exchanges in land settlements.

There is another problem no one wants to address. In every habitable continent, there have been secessionist groups demanding the right to set up their own nation. A few have succeeded, like the Bangladeshis, South Sudan, the Tamils. Others have not, like most recently the Catalonians. Just because a group declares it constitutes a bona fide nation does not mean they are or that they have the historical or legal right to the land they claim as their "national homeland". Check out the legal precedents followed for settling First Nations/Aboriginal land claims. Even a cursory survey of "Palestinian" assertion that they are an ancient religio-national entity shows the claim to be highly problematic at best. It certainly is not borne out by historical evidence.

The problem here, though, seems intractable. The obvious solution is that Jordan which is already over 60% "Palestinian" ruled by minority sect, the Hashemites, become 100% Palestinian, ruled over by themselves. Real Politik involving the King of Jordan never even entertaining the possibility of handing over power to the Palestinians; the Arabs' repeated stated intent to eliminate Israel as a Jewish country; and Israel's fear of allowing a Hamas/Hezbollah style country on their doorstep, militate against any form of Jordanian option, and so the problem continues.

Blue Meanie ,   Ramat Hasharon   (01.27.18)
"Likud Central Committee votes in favor of annexation. Failing to see the Palestinians are real people with ambitions".

Should have been:
Likud Central Committee votes in favor of annexation. Having in mind the fact that Palestinians people are swept by the ambitions to take over Israel.
