Abbas has little credibility. Trump, Pence and Netanyahu have no credibility on peace, leaving no basis on which to hold negotiations.

Why is there no alternative to the US? it is not like Israel has ever agreed with the US on a process. Every plan the US comes up with always has poison pill "reservations" added by the Government of Israel. And now, with the US announcing that one principle final status issue will be dictated by the US, the other side sees no point is even talking.
