Funding people and organizations whose purpose is to protect Israel and advance her interests is NOT equivalent to funding people and organizations whose goal is to harm and destroy Israel. Funding pro-Israel reports is NOT equivalent to funding the Goldstone Report and other anti-Israel propaganda.

Funding from Israel lovers, such as Sheldon Adelson, is NOT equivalent to funding from Israel haters, such as the E.U. Organizations such as Tikvah deserve to be treated as friends of Israel. Organizations such as the New Israel Fund deserve to be treated as foes.

All funding of the far left should be banned. They are more of a liability than an asset to Israel. They are sympathetic to Israel's enemies and always looking for faults in Israel.

The " right" is not trying to destroy Israel, that is the big difference.

Many states worldwide donate massively to Leftish organisations. Private funding is a different matter!

Americans are outraged at the idea of Russia trying to interfere with their elections. New Israel Fund defends the right of foreign countries interfering with Israeli elections.

Lets make a simple ban any foreign country from funding any entity trying to influence Israeli elections in any form. The ban should equally apply to the right and the left

Israel's political debates do not transcend national borders and foreign countries have no right to interfere with Israel's democratic elections. The EU would not allow Israel to interfere with its internal democracy. We should demand the same.

The difference is that the left cooperate with Israel's enemies while the goals of the right are to make Israel safer and stronger.

Anyone who looks at the funding sources received by B'tselem can understand that there is an agenda that is neither Jewish nor Israeli.
