Israeli Arabs could lean something.....it's called respect!

The Israeli National Anthem, "Hatikvah" should be the hope of all Israel's citizens including Israel's Arab citizens. An anthem should never be partisan for the majority sector only. After all, Israel's citizens should have a common loyalty to Israel by taking the example of South Africa where all its citizens' sentiments are conveyed in its National Anthem. Why not include a stanza that is all-embracing so that all Israel's citizens can identify and feel comfortable singing it?

We need and want a Jewish Homeland few
Will deny this after 2000 years of Jew hate and slaughter
We must separate from the Arabs whether
They are living in Israel or the territories let them
Make their own fate as a nation I am sure it can be done humanely
Leaving each People the self respect they deserve But especially
A strong Jewish Homeland

First of all, Israeli arabs realize don't they, that they choose to live in Israel,
a JEWISH STATE....

In order to please the Israeli arabs and change any wording to Hatikva is unacceptable!!
The Israeli Arabs either put up with the reality of living within a Jewish State
and respecting all that the Jewish state encompases or .. hey leave!!

as in ancient times jews and non jews alike live in israel as proud citizens with full rights, yet israel is a country of the jews. we have christians moslems and druse fighting for it in the idf.

In my post, I NEVER suggested changing the anthem. I suggested adding a stanza that all citizens of the country can accept and sing emphasizing a
common loyalty to Israel by all its citizens not only one sector.
