1. the idf and leadership have to think offense
hy   (02.01.18)
enough of bibi and herzog's fences and walls and defense. idf has to go on offense. is it possible that sharon was theonly general who thought offense. we have had generals who talk about calm for calm, delivering a painful blow, hezbollah is getting stronger. what the hell has the idf been doing.

start thinking offense. the personality of rthe leadership is showing. bibi for all his uniform, is a reluctant warrier who would not know how to attack an objective even if you told him. likwise herzog, gabbay, iivni and olmert.

israel needs bennett or feiglin and fast.

israeli pronouncements save a few show israel to be weak so enemies are energized.
2. The best defense is a great offense
DSM ,   USA   (02.01.18)
Overwhelming force wins battles and wars not tit for tat rockets and bold talk. Israel's recent leaders seem too afraid of world opinion to take any strong offensive action. This is a ridiculous stand as most of the world will always be against the Jewish state and will only be happy when Israel is defeated.
3. Build the walls high and deep
Sam ,   Montreal   (02.01.18)
Build the walls around Israel high and deep and let the terrorists bang their heads against the wall in frustration. They don't want peace anyways. Let them complain about the walls.
4. good but concerning report
Rafi ,   US   (02.01.18)
all the new Hezbollah activity requires a lot of $$ and investment...

So where are all these funds coming from?
immediate answer: Iran

overall answer: Obama's nuclear deal which released BILLIONS of $'s to Iran.

What the Revolutionary Guard is not stealing, they are sending to Hezbollah & Shia militias thruout the region.
5. JPost grammar and spelling
Roey ,   K   (02.01.18)
I really enjoyed the English of this article. However, something that I see more than occasionally on JPost articles that starts to grind on me is the grammar issues, as well as the non-typo spelling issues. This article has examples of both:

"The exchange of verbal punches and mutual warnings this week, which begun with" - 'begun' is the past participle for clauses (e.g., "had begun"), which is not how this clause is structured. It should read "began".

"Concreate" - really? "Concrete".

But excellent writing all around. Please keep up the good work!

what makes Hezballah think this time things will be different?
Einstein was right, this IS the definition of insanity.
Let's hope many more will join their dead brothers.

The fewer the better.
