Seventy-five years ago, the Poles (not all of them, but most of them), decided to assist the Nazis in order to make their own lives a tiny bit easier.

There is massive undeniable evidence that Poles assisted in rounding up Polish Jews, of tracking them down and reporting them to the complicit police, of killing them outright for Nazi reward money, and for stealing their homes and property. Then, if that wasn't enough, they murdered the surviving Jews when they returned and tried to reclaim their own homes.

Can you imagine the outrage if the USA tried to pass a law that said it was illegal to say that the USA stole land from the native Americans, pushed them onto reservations in desolate locations, and killed as many as they could get in range of their guns? The native Americans would be livid, as would all Americans today. We can handle the truth, even when it shows us at our worst. Obviously Poland cannot.

What's interesting (and disgusting) is that most of the Polish perpetrators are dead or soon will be. So the Polish government is writing this law for future generations, to erase history and their collective cultural memory.

I have this to say to Poland: We will not forget what you did. Our parents and grandparents perished in agony on the soil of their own country, with your complicity. That fact cannot be altered by any law you choose to pass. You can try to whitewash the sickening behavior of your parents and grandparents, but the evidence is in an you have no moral high ground to stand on. You were tested and found wanting.

Poland, as a country, is the largest Jewish graveyard on the entire planet. By passing this despicable law, you announce to the world that integrity, honesty, and historical truth have no place in today's Poland.
