The Jewish and Western desire to negotiate peace is just dreaming. Peace to the Palestinians means no Jewish (majority) state. They want the international community to accept that position by giving them the West Bank and Jerusalem
and accepting a right of return into Israel. That is why Israel can get nowhere with them.

Why would anyone accept a phantom country without borders, currency, or economy? They are totally dependent upon aid and have no means to support themselves. Billions of aid dollars have been wasted on them ....... and apparently they feel they are entitled to billions more. Abbas makes demands and fools keep responding.

Hard to understand why Israel opposes Abbas speaking to the UNSC.
How would Israel feel if Trump had also declared the Galilee as what would be exchanged for the Settlements that Israel wants to keep? That is what Trump did to the Palestinians.
Netanyahu is on record that No Palestinian state would ever exist and that the most they could expect is perpetual IDF occupation and control over their daily lives. So what is Danon implying when he says that Abbas is harming his people's future.

The Palestinian narrative is fairly new development.Why no Palestine between 1948 and 1967.Arafat was an Egyptian. Barghout is the name of a town in Lebanon. Also the Pals are visiting South Africa too much and being persuaded by ANC to try the Apartheid and Bantustan stories.They suggest its a good way to go.

He refuses to square HOW Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza SPEAK and NEGOTIATE with ONE VOICE in negotiations with Israel.
He still demands that Palestinians return NOT to a Palestinians State....but to Israel!
He refuses to recognise that Palestinian Statehood and Israels security are INTERTWINED and no amount of tantrums, theatrics or threats or crocodile tears can bring about statehood unilaterally.
What we need is quiet and calm to be restored in the West Bank, Israel and Gaza and then Israeli and Palestinians heads brought together to GET BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD

Israel should warn UN that any recognition of palestine as a country would mean a reduction in Israeli humanitarian aid to palestine as per se what US did in reducing UNHR contributions.

It could be fun if Abbas brought Haniya along with him as a show of unity with Hamas and Gaza. I wonder if diplomatic immunity applies to those designated as terrorists. It would be a "show stopper" to see Haniya arrested in the security council chambers.
