1. israeli leaders
ray   (02.08.18)
except for a few leaders like sharon, begin, shamir, golda and ben gurio,, the usual leaders have been missing some abiilties. peres was delusional in terms of facts on the ground. herzog is the same and runs every time an arab flashes a knife or rams a pedestrian. livni keeps repeating the word understanding and has no feel for security. gabbay is the same as her.olmert was a chicken who offered concessions at the first sign of blood.

that brings us to bibi. reviewing some material of alleged converstations betweem mossad's head dagan and bibi, a picture is painted of someone who is afraid to take a decision so much so that dagan called him a coward.

this cowardice is evident in how he buckles under pressure on settlements via obama or now on annexation. of course he blocks a bill on annexation. he cannnot take a decision period. he wants all others to sign on and if it succeeds only then will he sign on.

He is marginally better than the usual opposition of gabbay lapid herzog and livni but not by much.

one question really stands out- why didn't the idf refer him to a shrink or throw him out of the army? The gaza war was a prime example where he could not take a decision for which he was lambasted by israelis.

if you want a natural leader, then pick bennett or feiglin or barkat if he runs-. enough with the usual collection of insecure weaklings who have beeen running israe. and that includes katz, elkin, erdan, hanegbi, and shteinitz, all weak leaders.
2. There is no bribery if state favors not given in return

3. bribes vs. gifts
erin ,   usa   (02.09.18)
I think it is a good opportunity to talk about receiving gifts. There is a difference between receiving a gift and receiving a bribe. Without discussing bribes as a topic, because it draws lots of opinions- many of them not the same- from all different people, receiving a gift from a person is an important topic. If we as part of the human population can’t receive a gift, then we are ‘stepping out’ of an environment that is part of being human. If we don’t receive a gift someone has decided to give us we are literally possibly subjecting them to rejection. It is not to refuse to discuss conversations about receiving gifts that are dangerous to us, or were received under suspicious, possibly illegal circumstances, or were from our enemy but first the discussion that is not being had enough is to talk about whether a person should receive a gift someone decides to give them. And the answer is yes. If we cannot receive gifts from people who make the physical effort to decide to give us a gift whether unwanted or unliked, then we give away the ability to continue to care for people as human beings, for giving something to another person as a gift has occurred between two human beings for thousands of years. It is part of a communication desire we have to communicate with another human being. And to take that away , takes away other people’s abilities to have freedom to express their humanity, which they so rightly deserve in just being born. (cont'd.)
4. bribes vs. gifts (contd)
erin ,   usa   (02.09.18)
(cont'd.) So, can we receive a gift that may be questionable, and mark the date and name of the giver on a tag on the gift or in a record book if we are unsure about the gift being legal to have? Yes. Can we accept gifts from people who hate us, who may be giving us gifts to injure us, mock us, denigrate us? Yes. Their act, nor their gift harms us if we see they are giving a gift and we are doing the right thing to maintain safe places humanity can be acted out for human beings who want to do so. We can be alert stewards of gifts we receive. We do not need to “lock out” sections of humanity for these reasons and those reasons, just to be doing the right thing when we receive a gift. The act of bribery takes place after a gift is received. Likewise, it is the act after receiving a gift that is the receiver’s responsibility, and we can choose to be kind toward humanity and receive gifts given us and later be good stewards of the gift. If Prime Minister Netanyahu didn’t want cigars, he could have received them and then found an appropriate recipient for the gift, or sat it on his office bookcase. We can honor the person who gave the gift in just receiving the gift and treating it with respect, and we don’t have to reject people. It just is not necessary to reject people who give another human being a gift. It’s even nicer of us if we treat the gift with respect even if we ‘struggle’ to treat the person who gave it with respect. Too few people are given respect for their good actions in this world community. If we can’t all be human beings, what is the point of being on this planet?- isn’t that what we are?

(02.11.18)
"important" issues like cigars & pink bubbles instead of the pesky Arab neo-Nazis calling themselves "Paleshtinians"....
