1. Tikvah could help create patriotic revolution in Israel
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.05.18)
Most of Israel's suffering is caused by idiotic, destructive leftist motivated actions like Oslo, Disengagement, fleeing South Lebanon, fleeing Gaza, pampering our mortal "Palestinian" foes and many others.

These idiotic actions didn't come out of the blue. They are pushed by leftists, who dominate most of Israel's institutions including the judiciary, security establishment, educational system, media etc.

The only solution is a patriotic revolution in Israel. Perhaps you can call it a Jewish Spring. Bluntly, Israel needs to get the leftists out of our key institutions and replace them with patriots. Tikvah could play a significant role in creating a patriotic revolution.
2. Zehut, Feiglin and the Tikvah Fund
Adam ,   NYC   (02.05.18)
The Tikvah Fund sounds like they have the same ideological bent as Moshe Feiglin's Zehut party. Israel could become a powerhouse if she breaks her socialist chains and embraces more individual and economic liberty. I wish them all lots of luck.
3. Who exactly is against this?
Gimmie a Break ,   Jlem   (02.08.18)
Maybe I didn't read the article thoroughly enough but it keeps saying the religious are against it and the only example I could see actually brought was some poet - hardly broad spectrum of the religious zionist landscape.

Halacha mandates each individual give 10-20% of their net income to charitable causes, not that they regulate it to the government
