3. Lebanon has a right to defend itself
Lebanon has a right to defend itself, its allies, and its interests. And it has a right to seek collective defense arrangements with whomever Lebanon chooses, as befits an independent sovereign state. Lebanon also has the right to respond to attacks on it, its allies, and its interests in the manner, time, and place of its own choosing. If the Israeli regime starts a war against Lebanon, it shouldn't be surprised if the Lebanese respond with targeted strikes against strategic targets and critical military, intelligence, and infrastructure nodes that support and subsidize the Israeli war economy and war machine. Lebanon has this right, and will likely use it to the fullest extent. Any Israeli offensive against Lebanon is sure to come only at a steep cost to the Israeli regime. Lebanon may be outgunned, but it still commands enough military capability to deter the Israeli regime from its brand of expansionist Zionist adventurism of yesteryear.
