olmert, a disgrace in how he conducted the Hezbollah war in my opinion, only got breaks from his buddies the judges. otherwise he would still be in jail and well he should be. he was going to turn over most of the west bank. he was allegedly negotiating on the Golan to Syria. he even gave in he says on symbolic right of return of many Palestinians. he is just full of merde, from top to bottom.
and he instructed his pupil lapid on security which is why lapid's judgement in the Gaza war was ill informed and deficient.

olmert, livni and peretz-remember them- the 3 are among the worst leaders Israel has ever had period.


olmert was weak, very weak and dumb on security which is why bibi got n. bibi is also weak but not as bad as olmert.

bibi needs no lessons from olmert. Israelis were sick of olmert as they are now tired of bibi.

When the whole story surrounding former FM Olmert broke...Netanyahu was the very first one to call for Olmert to step down.
Olmert like Deri has paid for his crimes...Olmert has done his time.
If Deri can be back in the government, then the very least we can give Olmert is his payback right.
If Olmert wants to carry on about Netanyahu...that's fine...after all

Millions of hardworking Israelis do their jobs with honor and integrity. This slimy piece of dog poo did neither. An opportunist, a carpetbagger, an insult to the others who have held the position.

Somehow Mr. Olmert always knows how to maximally demoralize his country. I recall how adept he was at doing this while PM. He would say things like "we are tired of winning." Or "our settlers are committing a pogrom." Or, "we must divide Jerusalem." Or "Obama is a great friend of Israel."

I have often wondered, only half-jokingly, if he might be an enemy agent, tasked with implementing a campaign of psychological warfare against the State of Israel. Who is his boss, I wonder. The European Union? The Palestinian Authority? Iran? I am generally not conspiratorially minded, but would he operate any differently if he were actually an enemy agent?
