The question the Poles need to ask themselves is why did they attack and murder so many returning survivors?

I'll answer it for them, since they refuse to answer honestly.

Because the Polish church instilled hate and suspicion in the Poles for hundreds of years and because Polish authorities had been scapegoating Jews for their own failures.

So when the Nazis removed the 'terrible' Jews, the Poles felt justified in simply moving into Jewish homes and stealing everything they could get their fat little pork-fed fingers on.

How could they admit that they robbed the now destitute returning Jews? They didn't have to- because killing Jews was something they had done during the war and it was a 'natural' response to the true owners trying to reclaim their property. With no survivors left, a great many Poles came out of the war better off than when it started.

I don't know why the Polish government got upset when the camps were called 'Polish Death Camps,' with 20/20 hindsight, the entire country was a POLISH DEATH CAMP.

As an aside, as late as the 1980s, the Polish church in our town was giving Christmas sermons stating that Jesus was murdered by Jews. If this was happening in Connecticut in 1985, just imagine the environment of 1940s Poland. That the president of Poland signed this bill into law makes me believe another Holocaust is truly a possibility.

Can you imagine the Polish outcry if a new law was passed that gave title to Israel of all property owned by Jews on January 1, 1940?

Poland would collapse. It's foundation is based on stolen Jewish property. All those Polish towns we read about- where their entire Jewish population was killed, what became of those properties? Who's living in them today?

Poland has so much to answer for, it's decided to take the coward's way out and simply rewrite history. Disgusting and despicable, but that's nothing new for Poland. I'm Polish and I thank Heaven that my grandparents made it out. I have no desire to return and meet the family that is living in my family home, nor to listen to the 'story' of how their parents or grandparents came to 'own' it. We know the truth. Poland hides from it.

How about the 300 000 jews saved by the polish people during the war? How about the polish people who were executed by the nazis for helping jews? How about the tens of thousands of polish people rewarded with the totale of ,,rights among the nations for helping jews during the war? And why was Poland called,,paradisul judeorum- jewish paradise, If it was so antisemitic?

If morality is what guides these people, they should protest the Auschwitz of our time! It is a place called Gaza...only a few dozen kilometers south of Tel Aviv. The world is fed up with Jewish hypocrisy and moral duplicity.

I need to say that in the time when the Germans created Auschwitz and Birkenau Polish soldiers were either fighting in Europe and Africa against Third Reich or imprisoned in German prisoners-of-war camps (oflags and stalags). Many officers were shot by Soviets in Katyn.
Definitely no Polish army soldiers were serving in Auschwitz. What's more: there were no Polish guards in Auschwitz. Ms. Rosenweig makes a huge mistake.

Polish soldiers together with German soldiers oppressing Jews? Really? The Polish army was defeated in 6 weeks and government went into exile in London. How can one knowingly spread this hate?

How could they carry pogroms against you every Passover? It was a lawful country before the war with a justice system and law enforcement. In the middle ages you were chased out of all European countries and came to Poland because it was the most tolerant and free country of all Europe. Polish kings let you settle there out of compassion and gave you more rights than Polish peasants had. You lived there for hundreds of years and prospered. No one ever bothered you. Then Germany attacked Poland and two weeks later Russia. They killed 6 millions of Polish citizens and destroyed the country. Germans created concentration camps to exterminate Polish population to make room for Germans to settle in the East. The criminal idea of "final solution" came later out of Nazi ideology and Hitler's hatred of Jews. And for the record: there were more Jews collaborating with Nazis and selling other Jews than Poles basing on the percentage of population. And it was elites of Jews, the most prominent Jews selling their own while on the Polish side they were common criminals. Fighting Underground punished them with death for that.

Poles are a honourable nation, they fought Germans with all means on every front and in underground under occupation.

Yagoda, Kaganovicz and biggest criminal of them all: Lawrentij Beria. They all were Jews, killing Russians, Ukrainians, Poles and their own, Jews. Millions, more than Hitler. Learn about Stella Goldschlag-Kubler, she lived in Germany until committed a suicide at the age of 72. Israel newer tried to extradite and punish her, WHY? Learn about Chaim Rumkowski and others. Who was it that killed A HONOURABLE Yitzhak Rabin, who was it that burned Palestinian children alive, who is it that daily uproots and cuts olive trees on a private Palestinian land?
