Receiving gifts from a friend is not bribery. Especially when no specific demand or service were exchanged for those gifts Bibi voted for some laws that are pro-business and helped many businesses, not only Milchan. There was no quid pro quo.

The same can be said about the accusations with Ynet. Netanyahu voted against the Israel Hayom law which would have helped Ynet. Bibi certainly did not receive any favorable coverage, just the opposite & he did not voted for any laws that would favor them. In any case Netenyahu alone cannot pass any laws. Laws must be passed by a majority of MKs.

If a doctor would get presents as family of Bibi have received, everybody would support that this doctor is corrupt. If a lawyer would receive presents, if a schooldirector, a general, a policman would receive presents: it would be seen as corrupt. If a policeman sends his son with a policecar to a stripclub, he would no longer be a policeman. How comes that in Israel there are still people who see in the behaviour of Bibi and, yes, his family, nothing else than the behaviour of a corrupt politician? Bibi is a shame for Israel and its people.

It's time for the righteous people of Israel not to sink to the level of the frenzied media, the likes of Barak & Olmert with their 'advise for Netanyahu and certainly not of Lapid, the journalist snitch.

I have always pictured Lapid as a snake covered with honey. He has just proven my picture to be correct.
