not pay.
In the rush of the "Peace Process" Israel built oil refinery in Egypt,abandonned a couple years after building with huge loss.
When it was Egypt delivering gas to Israel, the pipeline was often blown up in Sinai-but Egyptian demanded and got payment for not delivered gas.
Israelis are suckers,Sharon or Netanyahu,total capitulation

2. Foolish - Egypt is not a Good Credit Risk
Egypt is continuously short of foreign currency and relies on the Saudis for cash. If they do not pay, will Israel really cut off the gas as it would for an EU country? Would it risk a foreign policy crisis and Egypt threatening there will be riots if they do not have energy? Or will Israel keep digging the hole, keep supplying gas and keep hoping for a payment? I think I know. This is very short sighted.

. They have 77 trillion cubic feet gas reserves. Each American is in debt $70,000 due to the US national debt. At the average income of $16.00 a day that is 171 years worth of income per Egyptian. Half of Egyptians live on $2 per day, . At this rate it is 1,370 years of income, and they think their enemy is Israel.

You should visit Los Angles where the homeless are now a health threat due to their own self made filth.
Seattle has oodles of tents adjacent to the Freeways where the mentally ill house themselves and keep the welfare money for drugs.
Pretty much every city has its homeless despite work being offered at better than average wages.
Example McDonalds pays $13.00 an hour and is begging for workers.
Some folks just don't want to work.
