This is wisdom. I thank you for your post. What Israel's politicians are not understanding is that you are not just losing a P.R. battle. You are alienating people who haved loved and supported you their entire lives.
I am an American Jew and lest I be attacked and called a "self hating" Jew, or an antisemite, I will speak carefully.
I am deeply disturbed.
Judaism is about Torah, our deep love and connection to HaShem, and land
theft, the occupation, the daily harassment of Nabi Saleh is leading to justifued,
yes, justified accusations of apartheid.
The occupation is harming our collective soul.
The days will end of blind faith and Americans willing to confuse antisemitism
with zionism in prosecuting supportors of the boycott, the days will end of American support for 10 million dollars a day of financial aid to a country that makes us feel ashamed to be Jews or Americans.
Isreael needs to wake up, a two court system for settlers vs. the
Palestinians is apartheid and if a slapping teen is a terrorist to you, your judgment is irreversibly impaired.
Israel knows to lash out at anyone who criticizes it, to defame them.
What will you do when we simply decide to abandon you?
