The "Holocaust Video" is an outrageous, hysterical and sadly disappointing response to a legislation which illustrates a revisionist attitude of the Polish government to the involvement of Poles in the Holocaust. Although the revisionist attitude of the Polish government is deplorable the video is a stupid and unhelpful distraction from the discourse.

Do not try & pull us into this.

We like & favor Israel, but also have always liked & favored Poland.

Big error in trying to place us in the middle of this feuding baggage.

The message is well said. However, the US will not severe ties with Poland. The reason is obvious. The US has immigrants from all nations of the world. If the US severe ties with Poland, then the polish will petition the US to severe ties with Israel. Then another group will as the US to severe ties with another group and so on.

Americans will not appreciate or understand the horrors of war except for those families and soilders who are impacted by war.

Moreover many countries like Poland are doing the same. Germany is the only country that is still haunted by what they have done. Each generation learning the history of what past generations have done to Jews.

Eventually the guilt of each generation to come will be expressed in anger.

My family grew up in Trzebinia, Poland. There was no anti-Semitism there. Pplish Catholics and Polish Jews lived together, went to the same schools, played in the same footbal teams. When in 1939 Hitler's Germany invaded Poland between 1939 and 1941 90% of the murdered were Polish Catholics.
They were the first prisoners in Auschwitz. My grandparents were killed in Auschwitz by the Germans. My father survived 2 concentration camps and was liberated by the Russians. Over 100,000 Jews were saved by Polish people, even though there was a mandatory death penalty. Those Poles who cooperated with Germans, were sentenced to death as traitors by the Polish Underground. That amounted to about 0.01% of the population. 30,000 Poles were killed by the Germans for trying to save Jews. This video is Holocaust denial - the authors spit on the graves of the heroic Polish people who died trying to save the Jews . The death camps were German, not Polish. They were run by Germans and Germans did the killing, not Poles. Please remove it from your web site immediately, just like the Ruderman Foundation did. MANY YEARS ago, right after the fall of communism in Eastern Europe, I was asked to write a book about the events. Rachel took the photos, I wrote the text. The book, which appeared only in Hebrew, was called "Lenin Does Not Live Here Anymore".

When we visited Warsaw, we were astonished by the many places in the city with metal plates announcing "(Name) was executed by the Germans at this spot". Until then we had no idea that the Polish resistance had opposed the Nazis so fiercely.

After coming home, Rachel happened to enter a clothes shop and hear the female owner talking with a customer in Polish. Still full of her discovery, Rachel asked the owner: "Did you know that the Nazis also killed a million and half non-Jewish Poles?"

The woman answered "Not enough!"

Rachel was amazed. So was I.

We knew, of course, that many Polish Jews did not like the Polish people, but we were not aware of the intensity of this hatred.
