I take no joy in anyone's death and hope he as found peace at last, but despite what I am sure were his best intentions, he did wrong. His actions, and his followers are on the wrong side of the Torah. Sinat chinam, and a failure to recognize that all able men should serve in the defense of our people as directly ordered the Torah, are a stain on what was likely a well intentioned life of pursuit of Torah. May he rest in peace and may his family and friends find solace in the good he must have also done.
