Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful the pilot and weapons officer are safe, but the plane was hit because they didn't follow directions? Directions that protected every other plane in the flight?
Back to the flight simulator for both of them until they know what to do. In the Navy, losing a plane for this reason would probably end your flying career... or put you in the right-hand seat of a cargo plane.
