Confidence building measures means free concessions to the Palestinians. Palestinians know there will be no peace agreement so they want something upfront before they walk away. That means, money or a prisoner release or construction freeze.There will not be any agreement with the Palestinians because they feel they outnumber the Jews and will eventually win so they don't have to compromise. Peace to them means give them the West Bank for nothing and a right of return to put an end to the Jewish state. They want that done by international boycott if not by Arab armies. Negotiating 2 states for 2 peoples is just a Jewish and Western obsession. In reality, it doesn't exist.

How can we embark on any meaningful negotiations to statehood BEFORE 1. We have resolved the issue of Palestinian UNITY across Gaza and West Bank. How can any plans WORK when you have Palestinians in Gaza at odds with Palestinians in the West Bank? Or a PA at 'peace' with Israel but a Hamas still at war? 2.We have configured viable workable borders for ONE unitary and contiguous Palestinian state for ALL Palestinians from Gaza and West Bank and beyond alongside Israel. 3.We have made a determined effort to regain control of national finances, account for the annual $2 BILLION that the PA hands over to Hamas each year, STOP the $100 MILLION each and every year of PA 'blood money sucking the economy dry, the setting up of a Palestinian Sovereign Fund for the future benefit of all Palestinians and above all crush endemic corruption and stop the squandering of MILLIONS of dollars on grandioise half baked schemes, eye watering expense accounts, free foreign travel, HUGE salaries for the elite.... 4. Finally we must rid ourselves of the mindset that what is good for Israel is bad for Palestinians and what is good for Palestinians is bad for Israel. Because it is ONLY when BOTH national interests and goals CONVERGE can we resolve this conflict once and for all .
