1. unsustainable
John ,   Spokane, WA   (03.20.18)
The gazan birth rate is 4.4 children/woman. They are literally starting to spill over into Israel. The current model is completely unsustainable and serious talks about resettlement of the palestinians into jordan need to begin. Otherwise, this cycle will keep repeating itself.
2. follow the money

3. Arabs
Michael ,   Raanana   (03.20.18)
All arab terrorists who come to murder innocent Jews to be killed.
4. The Gazans never lived in Israel. 'Returning' to what??
David ,   Hartford USA   (03.20.18)
If 10,000 Americans started climbing the fence INTO Mexico, the Mexican army would mow them down. If 10,000 Poles decided to march into Russia, Putin would mow them down. If 10,000 Arabs, residents of Gaza, try to breach the border with Israel, Israel will 'persuade' them to remain on their side.

That's what borders are for. And since Hamas has publicly threatened Israel with extermination on many occasions, Israel will have every right to defend itself with every weapon available to it.

But two can play this game. If 10,000 Gazans want to visit Israel so badly, I'm sure Israel can muster up 50,000 who want to visit the utopia of Gaza.

So the real question will be what will Hamas do when 100,000 Israelis walk into Gaza? The falafel and shwarma stands better be well-stocked! Gaza will do more business in a day than it does in a month.

7. If necessary Israel will mow the lawn again
Sam ,   Montreal   (03.20.18)
Palestinians prefer being raging. raving lunatics to making peace. (including their leaders) If necessary Israel will mow the lawn again.
8. Chicken Little the Sky is Falling
SE FLORIDA ,   SE Florida   (03.20.18)
The fakestinians' self-created problems "blowing up the entire Middle East" ? Sure Alex Fishman, believe what you want. Reality is another story.
9. Maybe
David   (03.20.18)
The idea that Israel is on the cusp of blowing up from Palestinian anarchy is possible, but more likely is hyperbole. The IDF leadership has been wrong about so many things, and consistently opposed to Bibi and the Likud, that I believe their prognostication is an over-statement.
10. Associate Pastor (semi-retired)
David   (03.20.18)
In my last three trips to Israel I have noticed that the soldiers and police are not as vigilant as they should be. I think they are lulled to sleep by boredom, and they are not constantly on the watch for erratic drivers or suspicious pedestrians. Too often there are three to four personnel in the same place and they are talking and joking with each other instead of watching carefully at all that is happening around them.
11. Psychological Terror by YNET again and again and again

No again, all your dormant panic theory , please spare us from panic a least before Peasch, Hag Sameach Mr Fischman!
15. Israel Is Not A Social Experiment
DSM ,   UDA   (03.20.18)
I believe a very good article, but I question what is being done to stop the so called explosion. Forget about a coalition with the U.S. and Arab states, as it will not create a different reality of life in the strip and even if it does it will still not stamp out the hatred for Israel. And why should Israelis care about the humanitarian disaster happening to people bent on killing every Jew in the middle east ? Israel is no longer a social experiment, but is a country with boarders, language and culture that must defend itself militarily against all those the wish to annihilate her. Weakness will bring on more of the same, especially with a younger generation of haters coming to prominence,
16. The left is hoping for violence
Mordechai   (03.20.18)
The left is hoping and cheering for violence so they can use it as an excuse to demand Israel capitulate to the terrorirists
17. The Comments You Read On This Thread Are Appalling.
World Citizen ,   the world   (03.20.18)
From the comments on this thread it is obvious how ignorant, brainwashed and hate driven some people are. David from Hartford, USA said that the Palestinians in Gaza never lived in Palestine. I would suggest that David do a little research and read some of the books written by Israeli historians about the 1948 war. Sam from Montreal suggests "mowing the lawn again". Sounds like something I would have heard back in Nazi controlled Germany in WW2. A regular here named tiki, hailing from Belgium, suggests a scorched earth policy. Hints of sending people to the ovens is what it sounds like to me. It's sad to see some in Israel, many Jews of the diaspora and others backers of Israel sink this low.
18. There Are Things on Which no Word Can Be Spoken
Rotem Adler ,   Paris - France   (03.20.18)
The man who bled the European armies during the WWII wasn't Stalin, nor Patton, nor Eisenhower, but a rather unknown German. Endowed with a hypnotic look and a savage sexual potency, he provoked orgasms in women just by looking them in the eyes, and which he later turned into agents at his service.

I refer to the man who informed Stalin that the German invasion would take place on June 22, 1941, and was not believed. The same one that on September 14, 1941, convinced Stalin to move the Soviet forces from the Far East to Moscow, which provoked the first strategic defeat of the European Crusaders. And the same one that, finally, caused that the rest of the Siberian armies went to Stalingrad to annihilate the troops of the Iron Cross there fenced.

The one responsible for the direct death of more than a million and a half of anti-Semitic executioners was called Richard Sorge; no one named him Marshal of the Soviet Union, although he officiated as such in the most sublime manner.
The amount of loose pieces that his collaborators gave him, put them together following his own impressions, and then retransmitted them by radio as if they were trustworthy documents. He managed the unique One Man Intelligency Agence that never existed.

The above comes to mind of this article of Mr Alex Fishman, which I consider credible and inevitable.

It would only be necessary to add when it will happen and, above all, where, but those are things about which no words should be spoken.

Sorry for the excessive extension of this post, the last one that I will send to this newspaper.

Thanks, Regards & Goodbye
19. The Oracle speaks again! (and again is clueless but panicky)

20. Resounding victory is always the cause of permanent peace
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.23.18)
Rightfully, Israel should be enjoying our 3rd decade of permanent peace. Likud had totally defeated "Palestinians" and exiled their terrorist PLO. Labor destroyed peace by rescuing the PLO and offering "Palestinians" much of Israel. The result was almost 20,000 murdered and maimed Israelis and the near destruction of Israel.

History proves resounding victory is always the cause of real permanent peace. WW II provides an obvious and dramatic example. Most of Europe and Asia is enjoying permanent peace because the Allies stomped Germany and Japan to unconditional surrender and imposed their will.

The same is true of Israel. We will enjoy real permanent peace when we STOP the mad flow of support to our mortal "Palestinian" foes, which keeps evil fictional "Palestine" afloat. We need to treat "Palestinians" the way normal nations treat their defeated foes. Israel needs to stop pampering our murderous foes and impose our will on them.
21. There are two threats
Mr.Reason ,   Berlin   (03.23.18)
There are two threats. The first is the palestinian conflict. The is only one solution to it - pay the palestinians in Gaza to immigrate to Europe - they need young people due to demographics. The rest can move to Jordan, elect a democratic leader. There is no 2 state solution possible, because in order to guaranty security for Israel a palestinian state would have to give up souvereign rights, to which they wont agree, and if they do, so just to make the deal and will immediatelly start building a full scale army then after.

The second threat - more significant - i s the upcoming confrontation between USA and Russia, China.
Israel must stay neutral in order to survive - not easy. Israels politicians must explain to all big players, that it is not in Israels interest to be dragged in this conflict, since Israel does not play in the upper leag.
Russia and China understands this fact alalready.
The Americans to conveance will be the real challange - we better start now.
