1. Yes but...
Volvi   (03.28.18)
I am all for giving aid to those in dire need. Help them, feed them, treat them. But their suffering does not give them a free pass to live in a country where they do not belong. Wounded Syrians who are treated in Israel as much compassion we may have for them no one is offering them an Israeli passport and rightly so. After they are well and cared for they are sent back home. Just because they were treated inhumanely does not give them the right to live in Israel, because they do not belong here. So after 5 or 8 years I am sure all those referred to in this article have recuperated and are well....DOES NOT MEAN THEY NOW HAVE THE RIGHT TO STAY! They should be returned to a safe country. Period. Otherwise the article above is just a leftist piece of propaganda, nothing to do with human rights.
2. Help migrants, but don't let them live here
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.28.18)
Some people deserve and need charity, but that certainly doesn't mean they should be allowed to live in Israel permanently. There are many ways to help needy people without letting them live here. There are countless millions of people, all around the world, in unfortunate circumstances. Israel has neither the ability nor the obligation to house them. This tiny land is for the Jewish people. Israelis must NEVER give in to the endless propaganda to let illegals stay. They must go. Period.
3. Tawdah many, many, many times.
Ezekiel Israel ,   Bethel   (03.28.18)
A huge debt of gratitude for your speaking the truth. My eyes are wide open now. The depths of mans corruption and hardheartedness in the world is incomprehensible to my mind. However, seeing YHWH's children be so cold hearted to others suffering shakes me to my core. ð゚リᆬ

The day of YHWH's wrath is as close as our breath. Take comfort in knowing that there is not a single thing he does not see or hear. Nothing is hidden from him. ð゚ムチ There are no secrets to his ears.ð゚ムツð゚マᄐ
Read his word day and night. He told us the end from the beginning.

Do you live in Israel?
5. @HARRIS: ME pop. 410 Million.Europe 30 Million. is it Half??
ironbutterfly ,   Naples, FL   (03.28.18)
ME is made up of 17 different countries with many different ethnic groups sprawled across its countries, including Arabs, Bengalis, Egyptians, Filipinos, Jews, Syrians, Hindus, Greeks, Sri Lankans, Sikhs and Pakistanis, just to name a few. So you have not a slightest idea about Middle East. READ and LEARN, and then you can talk.
Second...African refugees, most of them are CHRISTIANS.

An endless flood of rabble, year after year.

Your audience see the threat & danger of it.
8. Should have given them first aid and return them home

9. Really, Egyptians were shooting them in front of IDF? Anyhow

-it's Muslim on Muslim violence.
The world (Progressives) seems to regard this as a "natural" phenomenon....
10. The only ones about to suffer from trauma are the tycoons
Avi Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (03.28.18)
Nearly every restaurant in Israel illegally employs African migrants.
Every food factory, every low-tech, heavy industry factory as well.
You'll find them doing jobs that nobody else wants to do. Why?

Because they're grossly underpaid. The going 'street price' for a nine
hour day is a mere 88 NIS (25 USD). The minimum hourly wage for Israeli citizens (no difference between Arab or Jew) is 28.49 NIS + full benefits.

These weekly demonstrations are financed by Israel's tycoons who save millions of dollars by employing contractors (middle-men) who employ these migrants to support their business interests.

So, let's try a little social experiment. All in the name of doing good and being more humanitarian than the useful idiots.

Have the Knesset pass a law requiring employers to pay double the minimum wage to all illegal migrants. Any migrant who is paid less can file a complaint and send his employer to prison for a minimum of a year. The employer will also have to pay huge fines for breaking the law.

The experiment won't last very long. It will prove that these demonstrations are political in nature and the motives of keeping these illegal migrants in Israel are purely economic.

At 57 NIS an hour, of course no one will employ them. Without work, they would voluntarily leave Israel for countries with better economic opportunities.

US campuses/ workplaces!
13. Where are the NGO's?
tiki ,   belgium   (03.28.18)
Isn't it scandalous that the thousands of 'human' NGO's, & United Nation hypocrites have nothing to say.
14. Has anyone really thought this through?
BUILD BABY BUILD !!   (03.28.18)
If enough illegal migrants leave their own nations, who will be left to torture, rape and take advantage of?
These people remind me of America's borders where the hordes of under privileged are also deprived of human rights on their perilous journey which is ending via Trump, thank G-d.
The real answer is to educate the populace in order that they can form their own governments to resemble both Israel and America.
However, that would mean in rule of law which in America are the Judeo- Christian laws that are absent in these third world horror show nations.
15. Heading north
Geoff Short ,   London   (03.28.18)
Why were the migrants in Egypt in the first place? In other words, why do the migrants, when they leave their country, always head north - never south or west?
16. Derech Eretz
Headlamp   (03.28.18)
Israel is totally wrong in not allowing these people to stay in the country. From what I read there are 50,000 of these Eritrean and Sudanese refugees. This number represents less than 0.5% of the total population of Israel.

I am familiar with the term - Derech Eretz - the Israeli government needs to put this into practice and not deport these people & show compassion and kindness as proscribed in the Torah
17. # 16 Really? Why not invite ALL Africans into Israel?
(03.28.18)
Then, you'd soon have no Israel but you would have another African catastrophe.
18. Canadian Broadcast and European News CNN are you watching?
Tova   (03.28.18)
This is the kind of news that needs to be the front page of all western newspapers.

Israel is continually being bombarded with refugees and the world turns their back on these refugees. As sad as it is. Their populations will rise and you can be sure these refugees will have very little to no concern for the Israeli citizen.

I have seen this much too often.
19. A bit more honesty needed, troopers
Cameron   (03.28.18)
Emotionalism aside, though you be a bit shook by the sorry-ass condition of the Africans you encounter in the desert, none of you want them on Israeli streets or around your kids and parents.

Speak truthfully & in full on this matter.

20. ITS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. DON'T LET THEM IN.
