They are paid to create chaos, and try to slow down Israel and its progress. Freedom & land are just excuses. This is what was created in Syria and we all know how it went.

Israel's government must admit the obvious truth that our Gaza retreat (like all Israeli retreats) was an absolute disaster. It is the root cause of virtually ALL our Gaza problems. Israel needs to retake Gaza forever. Put an end to the suffering and misery once and for all.

1. Creating huge clouds of smoke with burned tires, preferably when the wind blows to the east, under whose protection they will try to break the fence and move into Israel.

2. Focusing large mirrors that reflect the sunlight towards the snipers' positions to blind them completely.

To avoid both stratagems, it would be convenient for the shooters to be provided with self-contained breathing apparatus, multi-purpose night-vision viewers and polarized lenses for the normal viewers and binoculars.

burning 10,000 tires is worse than the use of chemical agents.

Major General Yoav Mordechai, your use of damage to the environment by tire burning is cynical when you allow the Gazans to dump raw sewage into the sea because of electricity cuts. The HUMANITARIAN DAMAGE for which you are responsible far out weighs all other considerations. Apparently the Palestinians have come up with a low-tech solution to a hi-tech army and you have no answers.

Israel has several planes at their disposal, some of them pretty large, specifically equipped to fight forest fires, These should be deployed at the major air force base in Ovda which is pretty near by. As soon as the tires are lit up, their flames are doused and smoke damage and effect will be minimal.
