Iran has legitimate concernes about it's safety - see the coupe organized by UK and USA in 1953, along with the string of illegal invasions in last 25 years, beginning with Yugoslavia, over Iraq, Libya, Syria .. etc. Naturally israel is considered an enemy, due t it's ties to USA. But Israels security interests are genuine. Therefore, Iran will listen, if it is being heard too.
Russia is there now. Russia is very friendly to Israel, and it speakes, unlike many other players, to all parties.
Again, it is complicated,not simple, but ignoring the real interests of all players involved will bring only more problems.

I am a polyglot in 5 different European languages from everything I have read or heard the cool reception came from the European media who chose to ignore PM Netanyahu and NOT invite him to every single one of their news programs.
