I perfectly remember that even though Turkey was "major league angry" with us over the whole MV Mavi Marmara (Gaza Flotilla) business when we had the Carmel fire Turkey was the first to respond.
Yeah the Turks and more particularly their leader, Erdogan, are a pain in the left ear...but at the end of the day when we or they have a serious crisis we all know to behave as the very best of neighbors.
