31. who said anything about peace?
(05.29.18)
The purpose was to hurt the Jews living in Gaza. That worked perfectly. Nobody cared about the Arabs or peace. That was never the issue.

35. push has come to shove...gaza needs to be squeezed of arabs
DAV ZEE ,   Brookhaven   (05.30.18)
like a puss filled boil, gaza needs a plucking, squeezing, and draining of muslim arabs into EGYPT their home...

everyone now realizes dumping gaza onto the hamassoles was a dumb move that has come to bite Israel in the tushy!

time to undo that bad move, get rid of the sewage, flush the hammassoles toilet...

How intellectually innovative thinking after 40 years of killing and
death when in retrospect, it could have TRULY been a win all for Israel (AS YOU FAKES) already know deep down inside when the true intelligence BRAINS you all condemned had the ONLY correct ideas till this day. Harav Meir Kahane h”yd WAS CORRECT ABOUT EVERYTHING- anyone who denies it is a lying fool and a bigger idiot than they look like!
37. Israel created the mess
Peter Paul ,   Lisbon - portugal   (10.20.18)
When hamas got elected prime minister olmert cut all ties with gaza government and start the economic pressure. The objective was to overthrow hamas. So it is not true that israel blockade was not the main cause of this situation. From day one israel did not gave dialogue a chance. Such policy failed. Israel should talk with hamas and be prepared to lift the blockade. The idea that hamas should disarm is just the continuation of the same policy that did not gave any results.
38. Remember the concept of UNILATERAL.
Roberto Feldmann ,   Santiago de Chile   (10.24.18)
The concept leading Sharon wasn't only "hitnakdut" disengagement, but UNILATERAL disengagement. No security provisions, no agreement preventing it becoming Hamasatan, an Iranian terror launchpad and failed state. What about having done it in a multilateral, responsible, security guaranteed way?

40. Author is Just as Naive Now as 10 Years Ago
KL   (05.05.19)
The author is naive today as he was 1-0 years ago. He should try another profession.

The writing was on the wall 10- years ago that the arabs of the Gaza Strip
did not peace. There are only two solution. Some how entice Egypt to
take over this territory( which is unlikely) or evacuate the land of all inhabitants and force them to go to other arab countries. The latter is the only likely solution although the anti-semites will blame Israel for the situation which is entirely the responsibility of arabs who have not accepted Israel's existence since 1947.

We must, therefore, turn to the Arab League and the European Union countries immediately and call for a comprehensive initiative that would include ending the siege, disarming Hamas, opening the crossings between Gaza and Egypt and bringing the PA back to the strip

Plereeaze! This naïveté in 2019... NOBODY, except this US administration cares about solving something in Israel's benefit.
