I am surprise that YNet publishes this type of article that damages Israeli credibility. The most effective way of combatting this type of generalized belief is for Israel to stop treating its Arab citizens as second class citizens. Being blind is a physical impediment. Being mentally blind and distorting facts fuels the anger of a public opinion that has come to regard Israel and its mass media as the generators of untruths and sheer misleading propaganda.At least South Africans should be given credit for recognizing the evil deeds they were responsible for. Israelis are very far from reaching that stage, and I am afraid they are too late to do the right thing!

There is only a Muslim occupation of Judea & Samaria, which the Muslims cleverly renamed 'The West Bank', in order to de-Judaize the area in the world's collective mind. The Muslims of Jordan (formerly Trans-Jordan, which England created), cleverly re-named themselves "Palestinians" in the 1960's, and revised history in order to gain world sympathy for their cause, which is the annihilation of Israel, and to teach the great lie, which is, that the Jews stole their land from them! Before Jordan started its war against Israel, they told their Muslims brothers in Jerusalem & in Samaria & in Judea to sell the land to the Jews, because they were confident that they & their co-religionist Muslim nations (Syria, Egypt, etc.), would destroy Israel & so they could thereafter keep the land as well. So they sold & fled & waited for the results of the war. Israel won that war. They recaptured the Holy Jewish land; Jerusalem, Samaria & Judea. They rightfully settled it, even though Obama the Muslim, who constantly quotes the Qoran, (NOT the Bible), demands Israel to stop settling Jewish, G-d-given land. Israel, unlike the Jordanians, allowed Christians & Muslims to come & go freely in those areas. The deeds to the land were and are owned by Jews. They allowed the Muslims to continue living in Jewish apartments & homes as long as they continued paying rent to the Jews. Arafat came along & told the Muslims to be arrogant & not pay! They stopped paying and were consequently evicted. Of course Islam, the revisionist liars, tell the world that the Jews are pushing them out of their rightful land! It is NOT Muslim land, regardless of the fact that the Muslims continue to teach and even believe their own lies!

Furthermore, The Jewish site called the ‘Holy of Holies’, in the city that King David purchased, called Jerusalem, which he stated to be the “Eternal capital” of the Jewish nation, was desecrated by Islam. Islam conquered the city and immediately built a mosque on top of it, which they call the Al Aqsa.

Jerusalem was never holy to Islam. It is NOT mentioned in the hate-spewing Qoran.
Muslims state that Jerusalem is “alluded to” in the Qoran, but the Jewish nation states UNAMBIGUOUSLY in its Torah, which came thousands of years before Islam was invented, that Jerusalem is our holy city and eternal capital. Jerusalem has always been uttered in Jewish prayers and in our supplications to G-d to bring us out of our diaspora, home to Jerusalem!


Israel offers women equal rights, unlike Islam, and for Muslims as well, and offers Muslims education at the highest levels, the right to serve in the military even as officers, the right to vote, the right to hold political office, and even the right to represent Israel in a diplomatic capacity! Islamic countries offer Jews oppression and massacre them! Israel is NOT apartheid!

While i agree with the sentiment of your piece, your own grasp of the policy of aparrthed and its appplication, needs some correction. First of all, apartheid in its true sense and as enshrined in law was never practised or implemented in what was Rhodesia. It was only ever enshrined in South Africa. So your "young Jewish friend" must gave been from SA rather than from Rhodesia, which at the time you depict was still very much a British colony under British rule. Secondly the word is Afrikaans, not Dutch.and finally, the enforcement of apartheid was often and dehumanising,, a point you omitted when trying the jnock back Erdohan's odious comparison. there is so much more to say about this subject, but those initial comments need to be placed on record the correct any misconceptions.

If you do not like living in Israel you know where the door is. You will not be missed when you leave for one of your arab countries.
