First point. The report mentions Russian Jews that arrived after the war. lol and behold those Jews adopted German society and have aided Germany to become an economic powerhouse.
Second point. The Moslem migrants arrived. They have not blended into German society and they are probably the ones that are in the anti-Jewish lead.

Spent half an hour on Google figuring out just which study Klieger refers to and can't find anything applicable whatsoever. Only ADL Global100 (in Germany as 600 people phone survey from 2015, not "the population declared") gave a 16% figure for "antisemitic attitude in general" after weighing up the actual questions. But no mention it about that 70% figure whatsoever, also its website counts 11 million.

Also, Klieger makes two mistakes / omissions:

* The Echo found "found no fault in their selection" because the price was patently inane by design, solely based on sales numbers, chart positions, and buying the candidacy (€50k). Content didn't matter.

* The cartoonist was fired independently of of an "uproar": He was already on the chief editor's hit list, and let go after clashing with him verbally in multiple arguments. (Th editor also admitted to personal failure in preventing publication, saying he was out of office for a longer time and his vice failed to even look at the cartoon that day, just rubber-stamping it.)

Yes, I know why so many Germans still hate Jews. They're worried that the biggest theft in world history, even though it's seventy years old, will come back and catch them in the fraud that they're living.

Time for a really good look at all German property records- especially records between 1933 and 1945, and see who 'bought' all those Jewish properties.... The biggest theft in world history is still going on, and the perpetrators are just hoping that everyone will simply forget about it.

I would like to renew my request for Ynetnews to clarify which "recent survey" this opinion piece references.

In addition: How was the 13 million figure determined? One can't just multiply population size by a survey's percentage, for the reason alone (see below) that there are some ten million in Germany who haven't reached the age of 14.

To reiterate what I wrote in the past comment:
* Only the ADL Global100 from 2015 (so not "recent") seems to mention a 16% figure,
* assuming it's the one Klieger refers to, it (nor any other survey, apparently) makes no mention of the 70% figure,

Mr. Klieger knows it all better than the German Jews... So 13 % ares racists - in Israel it's about 50 %, where would you prefer to live? So 70 % are strongly against the oppression of Palestinians by Israel - in Israel it's only about 50 %...
Btw, I'm a German Jew who choose to live in Israel, and I see much more racism here than there.

* it wasn't "the population declared they didn’t like Jews" but the ADL giving the figure after weighing up previous answers of 600 participants,
* its very own website provides a total figure of 11 million instead (since they're know to base it on adult population).
Also notice how meaningful this naive total figure is, given how wildly it differs from the one for Global100 2014.

Actually, you'd think that mentioning sources (here a simple name) and fact checking is covered by journalistic / editorial principle even for opinion pieces, if only for being better than risking another false figure becoming part of folk-wisdom. Never mind that this topic is rather delicate.

On top of this, there are a number of actually recent and genuine surveys with worrying enough results on the topic, such as the the most recent report by the independent expert group for parliament from April 2017. Why publish something like this piece instead?

(Even the Schuster interview with Mashiach seems unavailable. Couldn't find it in any of the three languages, on Yedioth sites or otherwise, but frankly at some point I gave up.)

I am convinced that a certain category in Germany can be called anti-semitic and are a hate-group, committing hate-crime, just as in several other countries. The bad and apartheid ideology and fake-religion "islam" is already practicing that since the 6th century, which began in Mecca and Medina on the Arabian peninsula. For example look at the quoran and sharia about anti-semitism, xenophobia and hate-crime.

Good point, Amichai. I’m not jewish (and not muslim) and after living in Israel for 8 years I have returned back to Germany. And I can only confirm what Amichai said: the jewish israeli society is among the most racist I have ever encountered. Besides that, Noah Klieger has his very own agenda, and his populist click-bait articles are typical for unserious yellow press.
