For example, I am a kollel guy that wanted to be a civil engineer.. applied to Macon Lev.. which announced a special program for haredi. . only to be told that the council of higher education rejected this. .. for ridiculous reasons. (not enough teachers to teach haredim (maybe the council thinks they have to speak yiddish or something like that).. . doors to jobs that I apply to are closed. by absurd excuses.. let's cut to the chase.. the government.. makes pronouncements for election votes.. and delivers gonist..

Anyway why is the job market insistent on army or "national" service? Most olim don't have it, and if they are qualified, it won't make a difference. What does "national service" have to do with needing a job and income? Who spoke from the mountaintop and created that value as a given? Nobody in the US has that.
