1. Calls for additional RO capacity
Tim ,   Brighton   (06.22.18)
Whilst the feeling is to wait until RO technology advances even further..there are still significant improvements in membranes, energy efficiency and ultimately cost that Israel can deploy right now

A new RO facility could take two years to design build and commission so we need to start the process right now
2. Prophetic writings have stated ,,,

that when Gog and Magog are on this land, in this country the Sea of Galilee would dry up.
3. As the crow flies, it's 26 miles from Acre to Kinneret.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that a big pipeline or a canal with some recreational lakes is needed immediately.

Israel needs to authorize the construction of a pair of desalinization plants on the Acre coastline right now and start on construction of a pipeline-surface canal system to feed the Kinneret. That would be a beautiful green-belt of parks and recreational facilities that would be the envy of the world.

New York has Central Park. Israel could have the Kinneret Waterway. The entire country would benefit. Maybe work with the Bahai horticulturalists and make the waterway a new wonder of the modern world. Can you imagine?

Water to supply a dozen smaller lakes, surrounded by lush greenery, attracting wildlife, and eventually feeding into the Kinneret. The impact to local tourism will be positive. People along the route will be able to AirB&B rooms or houses for tourists wanting a quiet vacation. Can you imagine a bike path 26 miles long with shade trees along the entire path? I can.

With just a bit of imagination, the north of the country will be transformed. The distance happens to be almost exactly the distance of the marathon road race. The world's athletes would climb over themselves trying to run a marathon along such a path. The Kinneret Marathon would become an instant must-run race.

As others have stated, action must begin today. The lake can be saved. Just do it!

Heck, if a few Jewish billionaires got together, they could do it themselves and make a difference in perpetuity. Mr. Adelson? Mr. Perelman? Mr. Bronfman? Mr. Zuckerberg? Mr. Ellison? Are any of you ready to step up and create a national park from scratch that will change the lives of a few million people for hundreds of years to come?

Think of the fishing and boating on those interconnected feeder lakes. With a Kinneret at full capacity, think of the yachting races that can be held. Think of the hospitality opportunities. Dining at fine restaurants 'on the water.' Employment for thousands and thousands of people. New waterfront neighborhoods. All that construction will occupy builders for many decades to come.

All it takes is determination.

Make the Kinneret Waterway happen. Make it happen NOW.
4. I think I will go wash my car now.......
Eliyahu Konn   (06.23.18)
nah, I don't have one. As rome burns the fiddlers at the pride parades fiddle. Yeah, you wouldn't print an opposing opinion on your putrid article about the pride parade in haifa because someone might wake up and see the drought being caused by the toeivah in tel aviv and haifa. You will print greenpeace drivel about climate change though. It would be nice to see names and faces of those that decide the fate of ynet comments.
