Assad is trying to get rid of them. If not for Russia which provided help in annihilating large part of ISIS forces and their associates (aka "rebels"), Syria would have been today an ISIS stronghold. And Israel being an american puppet, doing exactly what its handlers in Washington want Israel to do - to bomb Assad's forces. Just a reminder, ISIS, like Al-Qaeda, was formed by CIA/Washington with the goal of occupying Syria and turning it into isisland.
