It is an unfortunate reality that this Eritrean was mistaken for a terrorist and not involved in terrorist activity was murdered. People of different colour who are foreigners in Israel are so easily mistaken for being terrorists and there are those who are quick to take the law into their own hands and murder in cold blood. The worst of it is that the sentence passed was so lenient. If it would have been an Israeli Jew that was murdered in this fashion no doubt the sentence would have fit the crime.

Zarhum was seeking refuge in Israel. Was he killed because of being a terrorist or of his color? Moyal feels remorse and is mentally shocked. Wonder how Zarhum felt when beaten to death?

A man does not go to jail after helping to beat a man to death? Clearly the Jewish values I grew up with are finished here in Israel. The judiciary have clearly been infected by the fascist/religious right . What would they have said if it had happened to an Israeli abroad?
