mandatory draft of every single 18-years old soul and engineering them into mixed units working for the good of the country is the best way to unite a fractured society and include all sectors in Israel's success story. The Haredi and Arab sectors are behind. Drafting them to non-combat units and putting their hands to work together for the greater good (e.g. clean up and re-seed land scorched by incendiary kites) will integrate them and help them become good contributing citizens.

Israel is probably the only country in the world where anybody can form their own party and become PM straight away.
A good PM needs to have been round the block started at the bottom and worked their way through the various ministerial ranks, it is not in the countries interest to have a situation where a journalist or ex general can just quit the army start a party of their own and straight away become PM if they do well
Political parties also should not give the top slots to rookies especially as the PM is not directly elected position.
