Let us also study the role of the US and the UK that refused German and Austrian Jews begging to emigrate before the war.
Let us study the role of the RAF that refused to bomb Auschwitz (thereby saving Hungarian Jewry from extermination)
Let us also study the role of the Pope that kept silent already in 1939 when they were shooting Jews in Poland in the streets.
Let us study the role of the British that did not put the Mufti of Jerusalem on trial at the end of the war for collaboration with Hitler.
Let us study the role of all the European collaborationist governments that helped assemble the Jews for the gas chambers.
Let us study the role of all the world governments when Hitler was already murdering the Jews in the camps and in the streets in 1933.

Let the world study all these things and then they might understand why there is now a State of Israel that CARES when Jewish blood is flowing.

The initiators of the extermination of the Jewish people in Europe were
the genocidal Germans.
Many others due to their hatred of the Jews, fear of the Germans, indifference, self interest collaborated either directly or indirectly. Tthe United States for example, by refusing to allow the Jews into the United States, refusal to bomb the camps sadly indirectly collaborated.
Their were many courageous Polish people who risked their lives, their families lives to help Jewish people despite the German efforts to murder all Jews, and to kill those who tried to help the Jews. G-d bless them.
Sadly many Poles were too busy trying to save their own lives. And their were Polish people who contributed to and participated in the murder of Jews.

Hitting their pockets by not leaving our money there is much more significant.
Besides: teaching our kids to hate Poles while at the same time preaching acceptance of Muslim, murderous "others" among us is at best....questionable.

Millions of Jews around the world were unable and were ignoring the need to defend themselves when the aggressors came to power. Please mention the Jewish preference for promises made by their religious leaders instead of taking political and civil action in the countries in which they lived.

And I admit, of course, that I am speaking from a historical perspective and not from reality during which, like many others, I would not know what is the right thing to do. (But my mother did figure out then what to do and this is why I can make this comment today.)
