Imagine if the WW II Allies had never really pushed for victory. What if they'd settled for "deterrence"? Or what if they'd achieved victory, but never imposed their will on defeated Germany and Japan? The Second World War would STILL be going on.

Israel needs to stop pampering "Palestinians", and insanely showering them with support. Stop begging them for fake "peace talks". Stop pretending we will divide our sole tiny Homeland. Retake Gaza forever. It is ours. As is all of Judea and Samaria.

As the great General George Patton put it, "There is no substitute for victory". Victory is all that matters. Israel needs to stop playing stupid and dangerous games with our mortal "Palestinian" foes and act like the victors we are.

is it's currently run by third class leaders both in government and the military. The country has not had a first class government leader in many, many years. Is it a failure of the voters for not recognizing real leaders who value citizens and country over all or does not such a group civilian and military leaders exist in Israel ?

Don't blame the government. They did what they needed to do and it worked for 3 years. Sooner or later another treatment will be necessary. No permanent solution is possible at this time and that is the reality of the situation.

Miss deterrence on surface look as political skirmish as IDF leadership are more interested in political career instead of proactive military solution, as is not the boiling point as deterioration in Gaza, as it's more the free hand to Hamas to acquire capability and interplay for Iran involvement.
Same branch in Egypt has been incarcerated to life prison sentences , all organization of Brotherhood eliminated and with very strong hand, knowing your enemy is essential.
The war with Gaza is most likely and only the question is when?
Any other development base on speculation of forced circumstances is just a waste, and not worth it to following the path, as Israel is waiting now just for WHEN?????
Problem: Political evaluation with too much lack of unity and team work which weakening the deterrence of IDF , by be involved in politics and no in solution , as the solution require complex combination of action to press Hamas on the edge , as they have freehand from claiming HUMANITARIAN CRISIS for terror acts( fire kites etc)

With those that want to destroy you there is no diplomatic gain.....only military victory.

Why NO comments on IDF statements? : is a Military evaluation after all and as usually a lot of journalist hover over the issue in political roundel without taken in consideration IDF evaluations?.
